Splendida riproduzione di un vascello francese, tratto da alcuni disegni del Museo della Marina francese di Parigi. Costruzione a fasciame e ordinate, tutte le parti in legno sono tagliate a laser e pronte al montaggio. Tondini, listelli e sovrastrutture in legno, bandiere stampate su seta, polena fusa in metallo, accessori in legno e metallo. Manovre funzionanti. Disegni dettagliati in varie tavole con istruzioni.

The corvette Astrolabe (L'Astrolabe) was launched at Toulon in 1811 as Ecurie, a horse transport ship of 380 tons. She is one of twelve ships of the same type.
A plank on frame construction, the model boat kit contains:- Building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings walnut or lime wood planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, laser etched details, rigging cord, sail canvas and silk flag. All sheet plywood sections are laser cut for accuracy.

The kit does not contain the sails, available for purchase separately.
