Convertire un minivan in un'auto da rally? Che strana idea! Eppure è quello che ha fatto Franco Sbarro. Dopo già diversi concept basati sulla Renault Espace e su una Volkswagen Sharan, il car designer ha affrontato la Citroën Picasso. Dopo una versione "El Bicho" del veicolo Citroën, l'officina Sbarro ha lanciato la "Picasso Cup": una versione da corsa del monovolume equipaggiato con il motore a 4 cilindri da 250 CV della Peugeot 306 S16. L'interno ospita un cruscotto "da corsa" e 4 sedili avvolgenti. All'esterno, oltre all'ampio kit e ai cerchi da 19 ', spicca la Sbarro Cup con il suo rosso brillante Citroën Racing e le porte ad ali di gabbiano.

Converting a minivan into a rally car? What a strange notion! And yet, this is what Franco Sbarro did. After already several concepts based on the Renault Espace and on a Volkswagen Sharan, the car designer tackled the Citroën Picasso. After an "El Bicho" version of the Citroën vehicle, the Sbarro workshop launched the "Picasso Cup": a racing version of the minivan equipped with the 250hp 4-cylinder engine from the Peugeot 306 S16. The interior accommodates a "racing" dashboard as well as 4 bucket seats. On the outside, in addition to the wide kit and 19 ’rims, the Sbarro Cup stands out with its bright Citroën Racing red and gullwing doors.
