Amati 1300/02 - H.M.S. Granado Kit 1:64

Varata il 22 giugno 1742 per incrementare la flotta di navi bombardiere durante la guerra di secessione austriaca, la Granado era una nave dalle linee e dagli intagli fini, inizialmente ideata come sloop con il compito di controllare i movimenti delle merci al largo delle coste francesi e intercettare navi contrabbandiere e pirate al largo della costa est dell'Inghilterra,fu poi convertita a nave bombarda nel 1756.
La Granado eseguÌ il suo ruolo di nave bombarda in modo ammirabile e fu vittoriosa in numerose battaglie.

Launched on the 22nd of June 1742 to augment the fleet of bomb vessels during the war of the Austrian succession, the Granado was a vessel with exceptionally fine lines, originally intended as a Sloop with the task of policing merchant traffic off the French coast and intercepting smugglers and pirates off the east coast of Britain, she was converted into a bomb vessel in 1756.
The Granado performed admirably in her new role and was victorious in several battles.
She was fitted with two 13 inch mortars, 4-pounder carriage and anti personnel swivel guns.
