Il 5,5 metri S.I. (Stazza Internazionale) è uno tra i più diffusi yacht da regata a chiglia fissa inseriti nelle Classi Internazionali a"formula". Nel 1949, in aggiunta alle già presenti 6,8 e 12 m, venne istituita la classe 5,5.

The 5,5 m S.I. (International Class) is one of the most common fixed keel regatta yachts included in the "formula" International Classes. The 5,5 m yacht was added to the existing 6,8 and 12 m yachts in 1949 when a special 5,5 m class was established.
