Fregata francese da 30 cannoni, passata alla storia grazie al suo progettista, il celebre architetto navale Fredrik Chapman. Nella sua opera "Architectura Navalis Mercatoria", pubblicata a Stoccolma nel 1768, oltre al piano grafico, sono infatti descritti minuziosamente tutti i calcoli relativi alla nave, sia per quanto riguarda la tecnica costruttiva, sia per le resistenze idrodinamiche. Grazie al "tutto tagliato", alla prelavorazione dei componenti e alla scelta dei legnami, il nostro modello, basato ovviamente sul piano

French frigate of the middle of the 18th century
This 30 gun French frigate is famous because of its designer, the well-known naval architect Fredrik Chapman. In addition to the drawings, all the calculations relating to the construction and the hydrodynamic resistance of the vessel are provided in Chapman’s
