Il Junkers Ef-126 / Ef-127 era un aereo sperimentale che fu proposto come risposta alla richiesta del programma "Jägernotprogramm" emessa dall'Alto Comando Luftwaffe.
Il modello presentava 2 canoni MG 151 mm su ciascun lato della cabina di pilotaggio (simile alla He162 Salamander). Mentre il progetto iniziale avrebbe dovuto utilizzare un singolo motore a impulsi Argus As 014, si è rapidamente scoperto che aveva una potenza inferiore in quella configurazione. Sono state esplorate varie opzioni di propulsione alternative, tra cui una doppia configurazione Argus As 014, un motore a razzo Walther 509C come quello trasportato dal caccia sperimentale Me263, e un singolo Jumo 226.

The Das Werk Ef-126 / Ef-127 kit is designed to be built in one of three main version, with countless variations of final configuration possible.
It can be built with or without booster rockets, in the takeoff configuration (sitting on the trolley), in the landing configura­tion (with the landing skid deployed), in a factory assembly configuration (with or without engines installed and resting on the wooden factory cradle) and in a number of various tail configurations.



While the Ef-126 / Ef-127 never served in combat, we believe it is a beautiful aircraft design that would have looked quite attractive in a variety of late-war paint and mark­ings schemes, and so we have included 7 different markings options and paint schemes. While the decal placement and profiles show the Ef-126 Dual Argus configuration, the markings can be applied to any version. We hope you will have fun letting your imagination soar a bit and will explore the possibilities.
